Information Technology

 

Corporate Information Technology (IT) partners with each division in KLA to develop, engage and promote global enterprise solution leading the way with innovations which meet the business’ needs.

IT is responsible for delivering consultative services in support of our world-wide design engineering teams to meet our strategic objectives of bringing new products to market Better, Faster, and Cheaper. 

Regional IT Lead is responsible for the managing IT infrastructure whihc includes Datacenter

Responsibilities

-Handling VM environment through  VMware and Hyper V

-Supporting Core IT infrastruture which inludes Network, Servers, Stoarge, Backups etc

- Datacenter support

- Partner site IT issues support and Coordination

- Liasioning with Vendors

- Working on Innovative projects as needed

- Managing IT Projects

- Work with all

 

Qualifications

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 8-15 years of experience as IT Infrastructure, architecture and hands on technical experience as detailed below

  • Required Skills:

    1. Excellent knowledge & hands on experience in IT Infrastructure & Cloud setup, upgrade or migration
    2. Good understanding or experience of High-Tech R&D centre’s IT requirements and solutions
    3. Strong knowledge on Information Security and common best practices, industry updates
    4. Core competencies include (should poses strong conceptual knowledge on all and have working knowledge in at least 6 of the skills)
      1. Data centre concepts, like racking, cabling, data centre management activities
      2. Enterprise Networks (Including LAN, WAN, MPLS, Equipment, Software based networking etc)
      3. Operating Systems (Including all Server class from Microsoft and Linux)
      4. Virtualization & Containerization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Dockers)
      5. Cloud Technology (Paas, Iaas & Saas for Enterprises, AWS, Azure and IBM)
      6. Network Security & Antivirus, DLP
      7. End point management (GPO, AD Groups, Policies, SCCM, WDS and products like ccbot)
      8. Unified communication solutions like IP telephony, video collaboration solutions like bluecoat, Teams, zoom and google meet
      9. Backup – On premise or cloud solutions
    5. Ability to understand application platforms and their technologies
    6. Infrastructure automation will be an added advantage
    7. Excellent knowledge in process definition, correction and improvements in resolving problems
    8. Hands on experience in deploying monitoring solutions for various IT Infrastructure
    9. Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams
    10. Able to plan and execute infrastructure project

     

    Additional Skills:

    1. ITIL and PMP certification is an advantage
    2. Experience in handling multiple vendors or external teams
