The Optical Metrology Division products are used for optical overlay metrology. The portfolio of products includes unique solution packages which are based on hardware and software systems to enhance yield and effectiveness. As a world leader in its field of expertise, the division's products are the most advanced in performance (measurement accuracy of nanometers and below), reliability, ease of use and compatibility with other KLA's products.  KLA (Israel) controls over 80% of the world market sales in its field, and its products are used by every major semiconductor manufacturer around the world.  KLA Israel is located in the Migdal Haemek Industrial Park.  


This position is located within the Optical Metrology Division at KLA. You’ll be a key contributor as the Product Marketing with responsibility for a cross-functional product in the Optical metrology systems as we build a world-class marketing team. The Product Marketing manager will play an integral role in defining new solutions based on market and competitive trends. The job supports the company's overall strategy and goals through cross-functional collaboration. Your role will be to capitalize on our huge opportunity in the Semiconductor Metrology market, identifying opportunities, developing and managing requirements for new systems targeted at this growing market segment. You will develop marketing requirements, define the user experience, manage customer engagements, use cases, craft product messaging and positioning, and have end-to-end responsibility for the success of your portfolio.

You will provide vision and leadership to a cross-functional teams from different organizations responsible for developing and bringing to market exceptional solutions to semiconductor optical metrology. You will interface with Product Management, Engineering, Applications Engineering, the executive team, customers, solutions partners and industry consultants. Expected to be in our Migdal haemek office 30-50% of your time .


  • Develop product-customer strategy and roadmap; communicate vision for roadmap to senior management team and broader organization across company
  • Develop market and product requirement with associated business cases and other deliverables ensure viability of product in the Optical Metrology Market
  • Acts as business owner of new products major strategic enhancements, , and innovations
  • Effectively communicate product strategy, roadmap, and individual releases to the organization and market in conjunction with marketing and practice leaders.
  • Drive new products or enhancements based on established Product Management methods to provide distinct and measurable results
  • Translating Marketing objectives  and  strategies  to  develop  portfolio objectives,  strategies and  plans
  • Support and facilitate development and implementation of business/marketing plans across division


  • M.Sc degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field. MBA – is an advantage.
  • In depth understanding of semiconductor process and interaction within semiconductor production FAB
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a semiconductor/capital equipment environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Prepared to travel at least 25% of time to our customers all over the world.
