Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Technician for 7xx source and platform:

  • Ownership of Vacuum Particle Test Stand including:
    • Scheduling experiments
    • Material collection (preparing wafers, ordering wafers and FOUPs, etc.)
    • Tool baselining before/after tests, and routine maintenance
    • Test logistics – helping the owner get their assembly installed on the system
    • Analysis logistics – getting wafers to/from surfscan and ebeam
    • Analysis summary
    • Document all of the above so others can do it
  • Support 7xx source lab operation:
    • Assist in executing experiements and test plans
    • Assist in source test equipment upgrades and modifications
  • Support 7xx tool integration:
    • Assembling subcomponents
    • Wiring, cable routing, water line routing, etc.
    • General technical and integration support
    • Working with engineers on integration planning and execution
    • Participating in planning meetings, sending out pass downs

Qualifications

Hands on experience as a technican in a semiconductor environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical School with at least 4 years of experience.
