IT Project / Program Manager

Group/Division

The Information Technology (IT) group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the global business. IT’s mission is to enable business growth and productivity by connecting people, process, and technology. It focuses not only on enhancing the technology that enables our business to thrive but also on how employees use and are empowered by technology. This integrated approach to customer service, creativity and technological excellence enables employee productivity, business analytics, and process excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Managing large enterprise and high-risk programs in alignment with the strategy and goals of the IT organization
  • Responsible for overall performance of infrastructure project portfolio in fast pace high volume environment
  • Managing stakeholders and communicating projects’ issues and decisions to senior management
  • Creating and managing projects goals, milestones and commitments
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of projects status throughout their life cycle
  • Managing project team’s deliverables and collaborations with other organizations
  • Developing evaluation method and metrics to assess programs risks and areas for improvement
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
  • Participating or leading PMO activities such as resource alignment, process improvements, and project prioritization.
  • Mentoring and coaching individual project managers

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field
  • Expertise in functional domains of IT infrastructure and business applications
  • Demonstrated skills in process enhancements
  • Experience in program and portfolio management
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Good sense of humor is a plus

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field
  • Expertise in functional domains of IT infrastructure and business applications
  • Demonstrated skills in process enhancements
  • Experience in program and portfolio management
