Group/Division

The Information Technology (IT) group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the global business. IT’s mission is to enable business growth and productivity by connecting people, process, and technology. It focuses not only on enhancing the technology that enables our business to thrive but also on how employees use and are empowered by technology. This integrated approach to customer service, creativity and technological excellence enables employee productivity, business analytics, and process excellence.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide Desktop support to totally 4 Taiwan offices
  2. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  3. Talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  4. Manage users requests with Service Now ticketing system
  5. Provide trouble shooting / fix on hardware and desktop software on site or remotely
  6. Provide first level of support on corporate applications (SAP CRM….), help users to escalate the issue to next level
  7. Documentary training notes for users
  8. Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  9. Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  10. Supporting the roll-out of new applications
  11. Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
  12. Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
  13. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers;
  14. Testing and evaluating new technology.

Qualifications

1. 3 years working experience on Desktop/software support and IT infrastructure support related

2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and major operating systems ( Windows 7 /10, Office 2013, 2016, Server 2012, VMware, Apple iOS, Android etc.)

3. Solid experience on desktop, laptop PC, server, IP phone installation and setup

4.   Bachelor Degree in computer related

5.   MCSE Certification is preferred

6.   Basic command of English communication in writing and speaking
