KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
|Support Manufacturing teams to deliver Hi-Performing tools on time|
|Analyse and solve complex problem and redesign high-end multidisiplanary systems|
|Mechanical Manufacturing Design Engineer roll is to transfer our hi-end multidisiplinary systems from R&D to MFG.|
|Support the development & manufacturability of mechanical system for semiconductor metrology applications.|
|Manage work plans: Build process, Fixtures, Test plans, vendors management (local and overseas).|
|Troubleshoot system and subsystem related issues.|
|Design and improve of optical, pneumatic, motorised sub-systems, jigs and fixures.|
|Actively Participate in Design Reviews during R&D phase.|
|Perform Failure Analysis and deep investigation for stand-alone parts.|
|Travel to vendors, R&D and customers, up to 20% Travel is required.|
|Bachelor's Level Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience|
|Experience with Mechanical system development and manufacturing processes is a must, experience in Semiconductor industry is an advantage.|
|Strong engineering understanding for diagnostic and troubleshooting of problems in multidiciplinary systems.|
|Experience with Pneumatics/OptoMechanics is an advantage|
|Experience in multidisciplinary systems (Optical, Electromechanical and Software systems) is an advantage|
|Ability to influence functional groups to drive system level decisions.|
|High presentations and multi-tasking skills|
|Familiar with CAD systems – SolidWorks or Creo -Must, AutoCad - Advantage, SW Composer/ProProcess - Advantage.|
