Group/Division

This role offers a unique chance to apply computer programming, backend and frontend development for data analytics in support of Corporate Security, digital forensics and investigations. In this role, there is the opportunity to define, implement, and integrate software tools and infrastructure with the goal to enable quick, accurate identification of risk-based activity to afford a thorough and timely investigation across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for:

  • Defining, implementing, testing, and maintaining an infrastructure (hardware, software, and integration with external systems) that supports multiple data types based on investigators needs (collectively, “System”)
  • Using and improving System to accurately and efficiently identify risk based on multiple data sets and data points (e.g., person, location, activity)
  • Designing, developing and testing data analysis/collection and visualization applications in programming language(s) of choice
  • Conducting digital forensic disk imaging and maintaining chain of custody when needed to support investigations and legal requirements

Qualifications

 Desired:

  • Experience in computer science, data engineer, data mining, machine learning, or data science

  • Coursework in statistical analysis, automated data mining, pattern recognition, and/or prediction modeling

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Proven understanding and proficiency of database administration, data structures, programming languages and web development

  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of operating system design, computer networking (transport and application layer), and computer file systems

  • Good communication, interpersonal and team coordination skills
