Group/Division

Responsible for leading and executing the procurement supply management activities for all categories and sub categories.

Work closely with key stakeholders in both Corporate and Division organizations to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. Nurture stakeholder relationships by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations. Leverage extensive market and supplier knowledge and optimize KLA and Orbotech spend to drive lower Total Cost of Ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Join our new and exciting group of Indirect Procurement in KLA+ Israel!
  • You will be part of a team that leads indirect procurement activities for KLA and Orbotech sites, engaging with partners and supplier and collaborating with global procurement to build a better and more sufficient procurement processes.
  • Understand business needs, source for solutions, engage with suppliers and finalize the engagement by contracting – you will own the full responsibility of the process.
  • You will proactively identify areas to enhance business opportunities, drive process improvement, and cost efficiencies.
  • Provides insight to the business units on how to best develop and maximize Supplier capabilities for the organization; drive supplier consolidation.
  • Develops plans and deliver results with collaboration with businesses in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Develops and implements procurement plans and strategies to support business needs.
  • Lead projects/initiatives that have significant impact upon regional and global business.
  • Anticipates internal/external business challenges and inspires change.
  • Drive Total Cost of Ownership reductions. Clearly define category spend and lead baseline.
  • Coordinate across corporate, functions and divisions to share best practices and adherence to guidelines.
  • Understands the overall needs of multiple business units and to negotiate an accepted portfolio meeting the most strategic needs of the category.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience as an indirect procurement buyer
  • Experience in leading different types of engagement and contracts (facility related, IT related etc.)
  • English - high level – must!
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in handling and leading contracting with suppliers from a legal and commercial perspective.
  • Self-Motivated and self-managed
  • Excellent interdisciplinary, intercultural, influence, and networking skills
  • Relevant business process knowledge, as related to Procurement and Category Management.
