With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.
The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.
Manufacturing engineering management of cutting-edge optical reticle inspection tools, specifically for electrical and optical sub-systems and assemblies. This position is a System's Level management position focusing on maintaining a high level of support of Operations, Suppliers and associated processes.
This position will be responsible for Operations support and will work alongside the Design Engineering team to develop solutions to complex issues to support the build and shipment of RAPID platforms within class 100 clean room environment.
Support of existing and new product launch through KLA's Product Life Cycle process, including DfX responsibilities with a strong demonstrated understanding of Data Analytics to solve highly complex problems.
Supplier development and support efforts to ensure technical capability and quality of supply chain.
Ownership of escalations both internally and externally at customer install sites.
Academic background in Engineering is required. Master's degree preferred. Candidates with Bachelor's degrees will be considered if they can demonstrate a strong ability in the application of the required physics and optical knowledge.
Extensive, hands-on experience with assembly, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting of complex optical systems is required. UV experience preferred.
Advanced communication skills required; successful candidate must be able to efficiently and effectively communicate complex technical topics to peers, management, subordinates, and customers in both verbal (presentations) and written (documentation) format.
Prior experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry is preferred.
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 1 years of experience.ORMaster's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.ORBachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
