Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments

 

  • Monitors and co-ordinates on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan

 

  • Assists in developing, maintaining and improving existing processes, procedures and key performance metrics

 

  • Take active part in introducing new products to the production line including build strategies.
  • Analyze build plan against inventory and supply chain data to determine demand for material procurement, generating MRP and forecasts to suppliers.
  • Monitor and control the Material to support product on time build
  • Drive material flow from strategic forecast to tool shipment while planning production orders for Manufacturing, considering all products, available resources.
  • Plan production orders for Manufacturing, considering all products, available resources (material and capacity), and the various demand-sources.
  • Work in collaboration with other departments as Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, purchasing.
  • Ensure that product schedules for material are followed during its development.
  • Work with key cross function teams (Eng, NPI) to ensure that critical orders, program deliverables, key metrics are met. 
  • Work with engineers to manage materials for special engineering projects.
  • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor proper execution of design changes and implementation plan at supplier and inhouse.
  • Analysis of supply and demand (internal and external) and generation of reports.

Qualifications

  • BA (Economics / Statistics) OR BSC (Industrial Engineering / Information Systems)
  • Experienced planner  - at least 3 years of experience
  • Has worked on high mix low volumes product lines, NPL activities, low visibility high volatility  environment etc.
  • Able to read and analyze Bill Of Materials, run BOM-Compare , identify BOM commonalties etc.
