The Instruments Group is focused on development of advanced inspection and metrology equipment used in high-volume production and research and development environments. Organization is globally located in US, China, and Singapore. The Instruments Group provides mission-critical cost-effective solutions for power electronics, LED, communications, automotive, data storage, and other related nanoelectronics and materials science applications. We partner with our customers to provide advanced hardware and software solutions to enhance yield and lower overall production costs by supplying world-leading inspection, metrology and review systems. In addition to developing valuable product solutions, the Instruments Group provides support to customers to achieve performance entitlement through sharing and implementation of application BKMs (Best Known Methods).





Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products.  Develops and executes software test plans.  Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.  Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.  Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

Responsibilities also include full participation in the software development life cycle and create automated tests that provides coverage for test scenarios which help validate the functionality and robustness of the software product that is being created.


  • Use applicable techniques and create robust automation test suites to meet project needs
  • Develops and executes software test plans/test suites
  • Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
  • Reviews software requirement, design, change specifications, and plans

Work with hardware, systems, software, algorithm, application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software testing need.


Must be strong detail-oriented self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills essential

  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience
  • Good programming skills and Expert level skill in one of the following in C, C++, C#, WPF, Java, Python
  • Excellent analysis and systematic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to react well to changes, multi-task on multiple projects


Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience
