KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.


Job Summary:


As a Global Logistics Operational Analyst & Program Manager, you provide the global support and lead for required logistics integration and implementation efforts and help drive process improvements and best practice in all aspects of the logistics network in all the countries we have a presence in.  This is an Operations role in a team that includes Logistics Warehousing, Transportation, (inbound, outbound, service and finished goods) brokerage, duty and crating., participating in the design of logistic processes and procedures, and analyzing the global operations logistics network to help devise a logistics network & strategy to optimize delivery to customers while adopting best practice to enable a cost effective network.

Additionally, you will create and implement tools and reporting metrics to help the Global team manage the business, fully understand the efficiency and cost drivers that enable us to maximize customer satisfaction and value.

This individual must possess hands on logistics operational knowledge as well as excellent analytical and data management skills and technology know-how needed to work successfully in high-pressure, time sensitive situations where customer satisfaction and efficient performance is the ultimate goal.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead acquisition integration and implementation for Global Logistics, this is inclusive of: main logistics SME on project team, define requirements, create implementation plan(s), execute the plan (with 3PL) 
  • Establish Service Parts Logistics integrations into KLA business systems and processes
  • Defining actions to implement New Business Models, Corp Quality Programs, Service Offerings Support and 3PL/3PR Global systems
  • Develop and optimize logistics solutions for our customers, KLA Corporation and internal business constituents and develop best practices to drive consistency and value to the business.
  • Deal directly with Third Party Suppliers in both operational and contract management and performance review and improvement plans.
  • Develop, monitor enhance planning and forecasting models for Operations transactional Customer shipment volumes (Spares and Finished Goods), return and repair shipments and logistics mode and volume tier impacts.
  • Participate in 3rd party logistics RFP/RFQ’s and support by developing and validating data and cost models. Provide post implementation support and analysis, tracking savings and validating the terms of the new SOW.
  • Review and provide requirements and input of contract/SOW negotiations with suppliers
  • Represent Global Logistics on system changes and other major initiatives that have a global impact with 3PL partners and KLA systems, i.e., SAP, SU (DHL) and Baxter (B2B connectivity)




  • Prior experience in logistics operations in freight, warehousing, courier modes, Inventory, SOX compliance and third party return experience.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong sense in finding trends and abnormality from unstructured numbers. Attention to details.

·Prior experience in Service Logistics Industry or spares inventory planning. Knowledge in planning systems and Service Logistics providers software is preferred.

·Ability to handle multi-task under stressed environment. Able to balance different requirement with limited resources available

·Strong data analysis / Excel skills. Experience in Material Planning, Procurement, ERP / SAP and big data analytic software is desired.

·Participate in cross-functional teams to support product plans, where relationship development is key

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required.
  • Prior experience with developing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Proven track record of surpassing objectives and delivering exceptional results.
  • Ability to perform multiple actions across multiple regions.
  • Experience with developing project plans, budgets and predicting project costs and driving corrective actions to cost overruns.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English. Knowledge in other languages is preferred. (Chinese)

Education & Experience:


  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Logistics environment
  • A Bachelor of Arts, Supply Chain or Sciences Degree, or equivalent experience in a Logistics environment. 
  • Expert level Excel, Access and Microsoft Office applications user.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects is required.
