Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

Manage supply chain relationships and contracts for assigned commodities/suppliers within the US Ops Materials Group. Understand company business requirements, market dynamics and trends, supply base and supply base capabilities for given commodities. Lead complex supplier negotiations. Execute, manage and administer supplier contracts, SOWs, SLAs, NDAs and any other required supplier agreements. Effectively manage supplier relationships at both the enterprise and division, function and project level. Lead, develop, create and deploy supplier scorecards. Lead, co-ordinate and manage supplier business reviews. Create, implement and/or drives industry and company supply chain best practices. Ensure adherence to company supply chain management best practices, policies, procedures and external compliance requirements. Lead and influence cross-functional and cross-organizational teams. Lead supply chain management project/program management and complex problem resolution on new product, cost reduction, value engineering, quality, reliability, delivery, inventory and service initiatives.

 Responsibilities will include developing, modifying, and executing supplier out sourcing, including the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals of outsourcing, part count reduction, key supplier performance, quality and cost objectives. Establishes new product objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to supporting materials group. Includes limited financial analysis of END, standard costs/cost reduction tracking, inventory targets, etc.

Qualifications

  • BS/MBA degree in an applicable Business, Finance or supply chain studies, with 5 years of hands on tactical experience and a minimum of 3 years of direct management experience in a planning or purchasing environment. 
  • Experience in Global service support would be preferred. 
  • Functional knowledge of SAP would be excellent.
  • This candidate must understand how BOMs are structured, ECO's are managed, Financial aspects of running a department and should have excellent cross functional communication skills. 
  • Person must be able to mentor and develop a group toward individual and departmental success

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
