Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

This role is one of the first in the new Professional Services team within GSS.  The Professional Services team has been formed to identify opportunities to create and deliver more service value for our customers, above and beyond our traditional service business.

This role embodies the traditional responsibilities of Product Marketing, including:

  • Engage customers to understand the unique service-related problems they're facing
  • Document solution requirements and work with technical teams to develop processes and tools that solve customer problems
  • Create service offerings that are attractive to customers, that complement our existing service portfolio, and meet KLA financial targets
  • Create value collateral, train HQ and field teams, and oversee the opportunity funnel
  • Engage customers in evaluations to validate value of the offering, making corrections as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate should:

  • have a working understanding of semiconductor process control
  • have a basic technical knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment
  • have a creative understanding of customer value elements and ability to translate that understanding into solutions
  • have experience creating and pricing compelling product or service offerings
  • ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, both formally and informally
  • engage and align cross-functional teams on path forward
  • thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to efficiently juggle many activities

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience. OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
