Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

  1. Require high flexibility, adaptability and autonomy to allow 20%-30% travel oversea.
  2. Conduct site surveys, pre-installation, support site readiness issues and readiness assurance
  3. Oversee and lead install escalations
  4. Perform/engage onsite installation twice a year
  5. Conduct post-install follow up to Prod. Ready
  6. Initiate and create install tech related BKMs
  7. Maintain and update Install relevant docs
  8. Manage team’s deliverables for new products install readiness (Training, Procedures, tooling)
  9. Support NCs analysis process and NCs debates meeting
  10. Support install eQ routes and checklist technical updates and catch up and KPMs constant updates
  11. Interfacing DE/MDE/Ops/Mfg for Install tech items (ER/FA/FCO/HW & Calibs catchups/Process updates)
  12. Drive install efficiency improvements (smart sequence/special tooling/knowledge & expertise gaps/obsolete tasks)
  13. New Product PLCs deliverables and meetings
  14. New project preparations- MRR/SRR install deliverables
  15. Support and lead Beta activities and ‘first in fab’ products installs
  16. Ramp management- Drive prelim preps for new ramps for all Install related deliverables and manage ramps onsite
  17. Post mortems for escalated installations
  18. Identify lessons learnt, initiate and implement corrective actions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Servicing/Supporting semicon capital equipment
  • Knowledge and experience in Semiconductor (experience in a wafer Fab environment in integration, photolithography specifically steppers or Metrology Management will be considered as an advantage)
  • High level of technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Process engineering or Yield Enhancement is a plus
  • Language skills in English.
