KLA is the world sales and technology leader in Nanoindentation mechanical property measurements. We supply cutting-edge products to the metals, polymers, ceramics, and coatings industries, among many others. There's a good chance a KLA Nanoindenter was used testing the mechanical integrity of components in your cell phone, tablet, or computer.
We've introduced a major new product that has a chance to disrupt the Nanoindentation market. Our product roadmap should allow us to exceed our already rapid growth rate, and to enable many more users to afford nanoindenters. We need positive, motivated contributors who are excited to connect a wide range of customers to our measurement solutions, and to be a part of a dynamic, rapidly growing team.
Applications Engineers work with customers to help them ascertain which Nanoindentation tool suits their application. They communicate with the customer directly, analyze samples using KLA tools and help sell systems. Application Engineers provides also technical assistance and support for systems in the field. The position is a mixture of traditional application and sales engineer's duties.
At least a four-year technical university degree in Physics or Engineering is required.
