Group/Division

SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory replenishment and processing of goods received. Receive & issue materials to work orders.
  • Monitor open sales order reports for upcoming shipments and backorder execution.
  • Complete documentation such as pick list, bills of lading, work orders and shipping orders.
  • Process parts for shipments & for RMA repairs.
  • Dispatch freight for delivery and arrange for pickups.
  • Record shipment data such as weight, charges, etc. & complete daily shipping logs.
  • Contact carriers to arrange shipping/receiving instructions for domestic and international shipments.
  • Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving issues.
  • Record and rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications.
  • Adhere to regulatory & compliance procedures for domestic and international shipments.
  • Ability to operate forklift. Operate lift equipment and comply with laws, regulations and standards.
  • Complete safety reports in relation to health and safety issues.
  • Conduct WIP and main stores audit, cycle counts and stock status as required.
  • Assist with training of new employees on the material control process.
  • Cross train on Order Entry, Spares Planning & other duties as required.
  • Other job duties as required.

 

 

Qualifications

 Education Required:  High School diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of applicable experience

Minimum Qualifications

Skills Required:

  • Oracle, SAP, or equivalent computer-base technology
  • Computer skills using MS Office in a Windows environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relastionships with your team, as well as cross-functionally

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must be able to physically shelf materials
  • Must be able to lift 5-45 pounds
  • Mut be able to climb ladders
  • Must be able to work at desk using a computer, keyboard and mouse 8 hours a day
  • Ability to stand 4-8 hours while performing your duties
  • Ability to bend and twist to perform daily functions
  • Ability to be n your knees to access components on lower shelves
