Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

EBeam’s mission encapsulates its role as the “eyes” of KLA’s product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.
We are seeking a mechanical engineering student or reason graduate for an internship in mechanical design for vacuum and high voltage applications. The intern will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers engaged in next generation product development for semiconductor metrology and inspection applications using electron micrscopy technology. The intern will be tasked with building up an existing module design to further extend the functionality in a next generation product. Senior engineers will offer mentorship in vacuum and high voltage best practices. The intern is expected to deliver a design ready for prototype manufacture and also source rapid prototyped parts for mock-up & fit check with existing components. The internship period will also likely involve assisting team members with hands-on tasks including assembly and testing of modules related to the intern's chief task.
A qualified intern will have designed and sourced several mechanical components and assemblies for other projects. The intern should be proficient in a 3D CAD design software such as AutoCAD, ProE, or SolidWorks.
