KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
Support build and integration tests of next generation metrology tools.
Work closely with engineering to assemble prototype tools in cleanroom environment.
Help qualify for production. Support installation at customer sites.
Must be able to read technical documentation and work with minimal supervision.
Perform mechanical assembly, cabling, alignment and calibration.
Experience with stages and motion control.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering strongly preferred along with relevant experience in various engineering areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Equipment, Systems or other related fields.
Experience building and troubleshooting optical systems, robotics, semiconductor capital equipment, biomedical equipment or x-ray or electron-beam systems.
Good hands on and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to generate and redline procedures and documentation. Experience working in engineering prototype development environment .
Ability to read technical drawings/procedures and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment preferred
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
