Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.
The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.
Highly motivated self-driven individual with strong knowledge of electronics system design, electrical sub-system design, optics systems, embedded system design and motion control systems.
Must have excellent understanding of capabilities of latest high-end electronics devices such as FPGA, processors, ADC, DAC, CCD.
Also must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, consisting of program managers, product marketing managers, key HW functional groups, SW and algorithm group.
Ideal candidate must be able to create and propose electronics subsystem architecture for next generation capital equipment, utilizing novel complex solutions to meet marketing and customer requirements.
Acts as technical lead for EE development team, ensuring all performance parameters are identified and met.
Diversified knowledge and experience in electrical systems, complex electronic design, analog/digital design, advanced FPGA design, control systems, embedded processor based electronic hardware, opto electronics, electrical system design, precision motion control systems, image acquisition, processing, data conversion.
Must be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on dynamics of business and program development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experince in technical project management is a plus.
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience. OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 8 years of experience. OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 12 years of experience.
