Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

The Technician will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems
  • Assist Engineers with Tool Debug, board debug, component characterization measurement, data collection necessary to support HW related failure analysis
  • Assist design engineers in debug as needed
  • Responsible for maintenance and calibrations of EE Lab instruments
  • Responsible for maintaining floor stock material
  • Assist Engineers in new PCB board development including schematic creation, Bill of Material creation, supporting component release into OrCAD CIS System
  • Write Test Procedures

Qualifications

  • Experienced in Soldering and Assembling Electronic Components
  • Skilled in use of Electronic Lab Equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good Oral and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Must be able to read and follow assembly documents in their entirety
  • Able to (occasionally) work in a clean-room environment
  • Good understanding of electronic components and their key parameters

Minimum Qualifications

Technical School with at least 5 years of experience.
