Sr. Facility Engineer

We are looking for a reliable, agile-learner and customer-oriented sr. Facility and Security Engineer to ensure company working environmental security/safety, Office & CR Facility management, Leasing/Agreement, Property Insurance and Risk Assessment of KLA properties and All Real Estate related subjects.

Real Estate and Integrated Facility Management

  • Oversee and develop various complex and/or large-scale projects of both Region and Corporate training center facility operational excellence
  • Regularly review project schedule, budget/cost, resources and all communications. Ensure implementation by using RACI model for project management and execution.
  • Explore, identify and participate in initiatives, processes and procedures to improve operational efficiencies while assuring quality within Corporate policies; ensure implementation of appropriate improvement initiatives and continually solicit recommendations for evaluation
  • Interact with various internal users across company to negotiate and implement solutions to problems; utilize feedback tools to develop far reaching solutions; review and evaluate suggested solutions to new and existing continuous quality improvement practices implement as appropriate
  • Ensure that required certificate for assigned area are up-to-date and consistent with all applicable procedures, policies, standards and guidelines
  • Regularly review LAA process, lease agreement renewal, company liabilities renewal & facility contracts to ensure facility efficiency and quality standards are being met
  • Manage and review bids/contract for overall RE & Facility maintenance and improvement across the region; tracking down expenditures on facility management/service; strive to optimize operations and cost efficiency
  • Implement and support for proposed facility/LKS projects, such as: upkeep of company buildings, C/R utilities, tool move-in/out, installation setup, relocation support and facility equipment
  • Carry out facility risk assessments, incidents review and prevent actions; make recommendations to Operational Management Team; ensure implementation of appropriate improvement initiatives and continually solicit recommendations for facility improvement
  • Regularly IFM meeting to review all the process, documentation, service quality and performance; plan and perform preventive / corrective maintenance actions to achieve the reliability / capability / stability performance goals, identify and solve problems, and reduce the down time impact.
  • Lead in the development of the company facility strategic plan as applicable and insure compliance with the Corporate strategic plan

Security Management/Administration

  • Manage/Control offices badge access/CCTV system with Corporate Security team and control center
  • Plan and supervise corrective maintenance actions on security systems with certified contractor to achieve the reliability and stability performance goals to prevent and reduce the down time impact.
  • Conduct site inspection/walk to ensure work space environment is in safe/secured condition as well as to meet Government regulatory and legal requirements
  • Explore and identify initiatives, processes and procedures to improve security efficiencies while assuring employee security awareness
  • Carry out security risk assessments, incidents review and prevent actions; make recommendations to Operational Management Team; ensure implementation of appropriate improvement initiatives and continually solicit recommendations for security improvement

Policy, Data and Documentation Management

  • Track and analyze the performance of facilities & equipment; plan and supervise the maintenance and repair on building/Clean Room equipment and systems such as, Electrical Systems, Chiller Systems, HVAC Equipment, and Gas Plumbing.
  • Responsible for overall administrative record keeping and data gathering efforts; make and approve recommendations & implement as appropriate
  • Adhere to and function within established Corporate policies and procedures, assuring all aspects of a safe working environment for employees and LKS students; review and evaluate suggested changes for companywide impact to new and existing policies and procedures; carry out the office/site execution plan


Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and higher in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering is preferred
  • 8+ Years related experience in Facility, R/E and integrated Facility Management; with semiconductor background is preferred
  • Ability to prepare engineering specifications, statements of work, and estimates for a wide range of facility related projects.
  • Knowledge of architectural designs, building codes, construction/project management principles.
  • Ability to manage vendors
  • Required Certificates or Licensures:
    • Technician in Electrical/Air Conditioner or Facility related is preferred
    • Licensure in Operating Containers for High-Pressure Gases Technician is required
    • Technician for Labor Safety & Health management or Labor Safety Management is a plus
  • Soft skills:
    • Proficiency in CAD drawings & floor layout management
    • MS office; fluence of English in read/write/listen/speaking; communication skill; interpersonal skill and relationship; Observation ability to find out potential risk
