SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Working as part of a small multi-disciplinary design team, primary responsibilities will involve the design, test and development of customer specified projects and continual improvement of our semiconductor production equipment. This will include hands on build and test of parts and assemblies, specifying and testing of OEM equipment, CAD modelling of parts and assemblies, as well as production of detailed CAD instructional drawings for use in manufacturing build.
Experience in the following areas is desirable but not essential:
Prior experience of using Solid Edge is preferred but not essential.

Applicants should be educated to a minimum of 2:1 degree level in a science or engineering discipline.
