The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to relieve site manager or staff of administrative details. May take and deliver messages, provide information to callers, set up and maintain files, provide workers with office supplies, prepare and sort mail, perform typing assignments, proofread, and research and compile special reports. Operates automated office equipment. May be assigned in various functional areas of the company.
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Requires clerical experience, reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills. Use of word processing equipment or spreadsheet applications may be required. Prior experience in office management or human resources is preferred. BS in liberal arts or equivalent is required.
Basic job responsibilities include but not limit to:
1. Office reception
2. Safety and security of Dalian office
3. Employee travel related arrangement (ticket and hotel booking etc.)
4. Office supply purchase
5. Facility maintenance including serving as point of contact with Property Office for any issues related to office rental
6. Office sanitation
7. Printers/faxing machine/copying machine maintenance
8. Other responsibilities manager may assign per business needs
9. Close work with Shanghai HR, Finance for remote site management
10. Involve service business including Intel PO, Spare part Quote, FSR tracking, BI report, Billing and AR tracking…
11. Teambuilding organization and team morale motivation
12. U.S. visitors logistic arrangement and related supporting
13. Office operation cost tracking and reduction
14. Supplier management
