Company Overview

Calling the adventurers ready to join a company that's pushing the limits of nanotechnology to keep the digital revolution rolling. At KLA, we're making technology advancements that are bigger—and tinier—than the world has ever seen.

Who are we?  We research, develop, and manufacture the world's most advanced inspection and measurement equipment for the semiconductor and nanoelectronics industries. We enable the digital age by pushing the boundaries of technology, creating tools capable of finding defects smaller than a wavelength of visible light. We create smarter processes so that technology leaders can manufacture high-performance chips—the kind in that phone in your pocket, the tablet on your desk and nearly every electronic device you own—faster and better. We're passionate about creating solutions that drive progress and help people do what wouldn't be possible without us.  The future is calling. Will you answer?

The vision of KLA’s global human resources organization is to become a leader and partner to operating leadership in support of the company’s efforts to achieve its strategic growth, customer and operating objectives through strategic talent management. Our mission is to enable the business, and leverage human resources to achieve short and long-term business objectives. Our primary areas of strategic focus include talent acquisition, individual and organizational assessment and development, performance management, inclusion and engagement, and rewards.

The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.

At KLA, we celebrate the diversity of our employees, customers, and partners. Strategically, we recognize the benefits of the collective wisdom of different backgrounds, experiences, and thought leadership to influence the company's success. We are seeking a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Program Manager to help take the D&I function to the next level by implementing and measuring ongoing strategic initiatives. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to collaborate on a significant initiative for KLA, while making a long-lasting impact!

Program Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Manage ERGs globally, building opportunities to engage employees in helping to achieve KLA's D&I goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to drive content internally and externally on messaging, initiatives, events and progress.
  • Work with KLA's Talent Acquisition team to implement strategies to source and attract talent from underrepresented groups and facilitate an inclusive candidate experience.
  • Prepare affirmative action plans, compliance requests and or regulatory reports, by coordinating with appropriate team members and a third-party vendor, and ensuring complete, accurate transfer of data.
  • Facilitate trainings and discussions on topics such as unconscious bias and inclusive practices.
  • Measure programmatic progress.
  • Identify and act as key liaison with internal and external diversity partners, organizations and events aligned with KLA's D&I strategy.

  • Expertise and passion for D&I, with 3-5 years experience managing corporate D&I, or related experience.
  • Experience in AAP compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, able to develop creative content and conduct compelling presentations.
  • Business-acumen with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence key partners, at all levels, through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Careful attention to detail, particularly around data.
  • Experience applying academic and/or research-based methodology.
  • Ability to travel to remote US and global sites, as needed. The position may involve domestic and international travel, up to 50%.
