Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices.

The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of information included in earnings releases, annual report, Form 10-K, Proxy Statement, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K and other SEC filings.
  • Responsible for all aspects of SEC reporting including completion of the disclosure checklist, data gathering, preparation of the cash flow, assist in drafting technical memos, completion of XBRL tagging, analysis of peer company disclosures, and preparing financial reporting tie out binders.
  • Create and maintain SEC calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes: financial close, Audit Committee materials, earnings release and 10-Q/K.
  • Assist in the drafting of new footnote requirements and MD&A.
  • Technical research on accounting issues and new accounting standards.
  • Provide support to external auditors during audits and interim reviews. Coordinate requests and manage the flow of information and documentation.
  • Ensure all non-GAAP disclosures are in accordance with SEC regulations.
  • Assist with EPS calculation.
  • Assist with M&A transactions and stock-based compensation accounting.
  • Support quarter- and year-end close cycles.
  • Assist with the execution, maintenance and updating of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 processes and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the external reporting process.
  • Special projects and other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • CPA is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 4-6 years of experience, including Big 4.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP with proven ability to identify, research and resolve accounting and disclosure matters.
  • Experience in high-tech industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle (a plus).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, with high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent team player who can build and leverage alliances.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.ORMaster's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
