KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.


  • Manages relationships with key suppliers to achieve Quality, On-Time-Delivery and Cost optimal performance
  • Obtains and leverages deep understanding of suppliers' internal constraints and considerations regarding cost structure, technology, logistics, tooling, people and more
  • Works with all internal stageholders to optimize results for KLA: planning, manufacturing, engineering, quality and more
  • Responsible for day to day purchasing activities
  • Responsible for open purchase order follow up in collaboration with the vendor scheduling team
  • Contract and legal documentation management



  • Experienced buyer - at least 3 years of experience, preferably more. Has worked and negotiated with suppliers to achieve such benefits as better pricing, improved delivery schedule, enhanced quality etc.
  • Able to read and analyze Bill Of Materials, run BOM-Compare , identify BOM commonalties etc.
  • Has at least basic understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints for mechanical parts (sheet-metal, machining), PCBAs and electronic assemblies
  • Proficient in SAP, Enovia
  • Excellent English skills
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • A team player
