Design and develop the world's most advanced wafer inspection and measurement equipment for semiconductor and nanoelectronics industries. Understand system and customer requirements and map them to a software design. Conduct software development using C++, C#, or Java. Take ownership of software design and development tasks for current and future generation of products. Work with various stakeholders during software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration, and testing. Create tools capable of finding defects smaller than a wavelength of visible light. Develop smarter inspection processes that can help manufacture high-performance chips. Identify software system software solutions that drive progress. Rapidly incorporate evolving ideas from academia and industry into useful solutions for our internal and external customers.
Employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field and 36 months of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
WORK LOCATION: Milpitas, CA.
