Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements for Machine Control and HIMI Software
  • Architect Machine Control System for RAPID machines
  • Program in Ladder and statement logic
  • Select various PLC components that meets safety and machine protection requirements
  • Architect HMI SW for RAPID machines
  • Program in any one of the SCADA development suite
  • Drive FAT and SAT
  • Excellent controls design, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
  • Perform root cause analysis for failures and implement solutions
  • Lead a team of junior control automation engineer

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC systems
  • Good knowledge of ladder logic programming or other PLC programming techniques
  • Good knowledge of Ignition or other HMI development suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated to excel in assigned tasks responsibilities
  • Project management experience
  • Track record of completed projects in controls automation
  • Engineering experience in managing project, design, development, installation and maintenance of electrical controls

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.ORDoctorate (Academic) with at least 2 years of experience.ORMaster's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.
