Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

Description
Electronics Manufacturing Design Engineer transfer overseas systems from R&D to MFG. 

  • Support the development & manufacturability of electronics system for semiconductor metrology applications.
  • Manage work plans: Build process, Fixtures, Test plans, vendors management (local and overseas).
  • Troubleshoot system and subsystem related issues.
  • Perform analysis of Analog and Digital design Electronics.
  • Actively Participate in Design Reviews during R&D phase.
  • Perform Failure Analysis and deep investigation for stand-alone parts.

Travel to vendors, R&D and customers, up to 20% Travel is required.

Qualifications

Requirements
Bachelor's Level Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience

  • Experience with Electronics system development or manufacturing is a must, experience in Semiconductor industry is an advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in electronics systems.
  • Experience with Electronics design for safety & regulations.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary systems (Optical, Electromechanical and Software systems)
  • Ability to influence functional groups to drive system level decisions.
  • High presentations and multi-tasking skills
  • Familiar with electronic design tools – Orcad, Alegro, AutoCad, Zukken – Advantage, Programable Logic Controller programming – Advantage.
  • Familiar with LabView, Python and VHDL is an advantage
