Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA-Tencor products in customer fabrication facilities. Make presentations on all aspects of products. Assist sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications Implements detailed customer installation plans. Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of various factors. Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Maintain strategic client relationships, identify sales opportunities, ensure products meet performance capabilities and expectations, provide critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collect requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology. Will be required to work 2nd shift.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Optics, Math, or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the position offered or in an engineering-related occupation. **In lieu of a Master’s degree and 3 years of work experience, employer will accept a PhD in Physics, Engineering, Optics, Math, or a related field.
