Central Engineering is KLA's largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company, and across all global regions. These CoE include Handling & Automation, Precision Motion Control, Sensors & Image Acquisition, Platform Design, and Packaging Engineering, among others. Talent includes over 1,000 engineers across global centers in Israel, China, India, and the US. Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables per discipline toward product programs, but also subject matter expertise, best practices, roadmaps, specialized facilities, apparatus, models, and analytics. May support development of a system at customer’s sites, perform product diagnosis and problem resolution and interface with software and systems engineering to verify that hardware and software problems have been resolved.
Conduct customer product demonstrations and technical training including on-site training of Field Applications Engineers and end users, generate best known method documents, application notes and other training material, and transfer product knowledge to Field Applications teams. They also generate demo and test reports for internal and customer review, help drive customer adoption and strategic penetrations.
Support applications execution in the demo process, deliver final reports to the customer.
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 1 year of experience, or Master's Level Degree, in technical/engineering disciplines related to physics, materials science, chemistry / chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
