Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

  • Support new and sustaining product service engineering.
  • Serves as the central technical resource and program manager interfacing across disciplines to progress products through their respective PLC (development) phases.
  • Review & provide decision on new system non-compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with the Singapore operations/manufacturing team from a serviceability perspective.
  • The individual will be fully integrated with the program & operations team driving serviceability and reliability improvements into the product design. Serviceability will include Cost of Service, value added service enhancements which drive incremental revenue.
  • Ownership and involvement can last through all phases of the product life cycle to ensure system level entitlement is achieved.
  • This is done through continuous improvement of system hardware, diagnostics and software, tooling, technical documentation, knowledge management and training.
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Proactively engage with product development engineers to develop best in class products and service
  • Create processes and protections to secure KLA Intellectual Property
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment where priorities and tasks can change with short notice
  • Collaborate across the HQ and Field organization to support product development and field service
  • Plan phase specific deliverables and drive execution through various functions.
  • Work closely with Marketing to define service offerings and ensure long term business profitability
  • Become a SME on one or multiple subsystems to include compute, EBEAM optics, mechanical, or electronic subsystems.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years showing progressively increasing scope of responsibilities
  • Experience working with vacuum systems and understanding of respective BKMs
  • Experience with supporting tools ie. eBeam
  • Hardware & Software engineering experience with demonstrable troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to execute defined high level objectives
  • Familiarity with cloud computing architecture and support of respective hardware
  • Program management acumen preferably with Six Sigma certification

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic), or Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
