Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

Job Description

 

  • The position of the student data Engineer plays a key role in the development and deployment of innovative big data platforms for advanced analytics plan in Manufacturing
  • The student data Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, improvement, and manipulation of data in the business’s operational and analytics databases
  • The student data Engineer defines and builds the data pipelines that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Data collection and integration into ETL process
  • Deliver insights to Manufacturing, Marketing, Product and CRM departments.
  • Develop monitoring tools and dashboards over BI infrastructure
  • Collect business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and implement in BI
  • Define new data collection and analysis processes
  • Analysis of large datasets and develop metrics, KPI’s and other process improvement tools

Qualifications

  • Student of BA/BSC in information system or industrial engineering with 1 year upon graduation
  • Experience in BI development (DWH) - Advantage
  • Experience in MS project - Advantage

 

  • Knowledge in SQL - Advantage
  • Experience with BI reporting programs - Advantage
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail
