Group/Division

The Global Products Group at KLA includes most of KLA product portfolios in both Inspection and Metrology/Patterning areas. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include requirements specification, design, implementation, and testing of KLA wafer inspection software, especially, but not limited to, inspection features that utilize the physical design of the chip under inspection.  
  • Responsibilities will span many different applications, primarily implemented with Java, C++, and JavaScript.  And these applications will span several Windows and Linux development environments.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate has experience refining problem statements, specifying requirements for solutions, designing, implementing, and testing object oriented software solutions, preferably in Java or C++. 
  • Experience with EDA tools a plus, including phyiscal IC design flows, semiconductor manufacturing methods & tools, machine control software development, image processing, machine learning, or computational geometry.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) OR
  • Master's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience OR
  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience
