The Information Technology (IT) group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the global business. We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in Vendor Management, IT Indirect Procurement and basic finance to manage the Corporate IT Budget.  In this role the Candidate will:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to IT indirect procurement resources for all aspects of IT Indirect spend.
  • Maintain effective budget models such as project expenditures, Maintenance and support renewal process, and for overall management of the IT Budget.
  • Monitor vendor performance, preform appropriate due diligence, and manage the on-going business relationship with vendors.



  • Managing the on-going business relationship with existing vendors, act as primary point of contact for vendor contract related issues.
  • Working with internal IT teams and vendors to identify/implement process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Responsible for leadership and guidance to IT Procurement resources, IT sourcing, contracting and contract management.   
  • Ensure all IT agreements meet internal requirements as required (GDPR, Security etc.)
  • Review and provide deal summaries to IT Leadership for approval
  • Revising contract terms/conditions as necessary for changing business or regulatory needs
  • Improve spend management by evaluating spend to determine if IT is using other than preferred vendors and communicating with business to promote benefits of using preferred vendors
  • Performing periodic audits of invoices to ensure vendor is charging negotiated contract prices, work with accounts payable team to assist in invoice reconciliation issues
  • Support Corp IT leadership team in planning, forecasting and analyzing IT Spend (headcount, T&E, Project expense, Depreciation, Allocations etc.)
  • Manage expense annual budget ensuring spend is on track by understanding the spend profile and continuously balancing between different spend categories
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance and support tracking details.  Provides quarterly/annual forecast of M&S run rate expense, quarterly accruals and actual results with comparison to forecast
  • Design and implement effective IT budgeting policies, procedures and reporting
  • Review budget requests for approval
  • Forecast future budget needs



  • Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions minimizing contractual or financial exposure
  • Strong project and process management skills with the ability to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts as well as a wide range of tasks
  • Ability to lead IT procurement team, establish and maintain processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models and traditional and emerging contract and vendor performance models
  • Knowledge of best practices for contract negotiation tactics and strategies
  • Ability to lead complex supplier relationships and negotiations
  • Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn and improve
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and collaborations skills
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, especially Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts)
  • Proficient in SAP or comparable ERP system
