KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
Responsible for performing the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex circuits, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Tests and troubleshoot OPTO-Electro- mechanical assemblies and/or systems in final test. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems in final test.
As required, prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
AA Degree, military technical training or equivalent vocational training is required. Five plus years of progressively more complex experience in a semiconductor testing equipment.
Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures in new assignments and may supervise the activities of other non-exempt personnel.
Requires experience in testing digital and or analog systems, and ability to read complicated drawings and utilize mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of precision and measuring instruments.
AA Degree, military technical training or equivalent vocational training is required.
New college graduate in mechatronics or SW engineering, or five plus years of progressively more complex experience in semiconductor testing equipment.
OR Equivalent Combination of Experience and Education.
