The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.


  • Responsible for conducting technical training courses for employees and/or customers designed to teach the knowledge and skills required for servicing Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) products
  • Interfaces with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. 
  • Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation. 
  • Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. 
  • Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
  • Follows up to determine applicability of course material.


  • Proven experience in onsite customer service will be highly desirable.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 
  • Preferred 5+ years of field service or technical training on Thin Film and Critical Dimension metrology products.
  • Effective communication and writing skill in English
  • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skill
  • Good understanding of customer technical issue.
  • Show experience in handling high pressure situation on critical issues in unstructured or unpredictable environments.
  • Able to work under stress
