The ABT group is a manufacturing group that designs and manufactures products that are key to our customers success. They are precise and complex. We partner strategically with our customer to offer solutions for ongoing and foreseeable issues. We work to serve our customers both inside and outside of the semiconductor market.
The Manufacturing Tech will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for creating new and revising existing CNC programs. The use of specialized software to generate tool paths and machining strategies is required.The Tech will be responsible for shop operations, planning and executing workflow and coordinating with other departments to produce precise high quality components. The position is both demanding and rewarding with a steady stream of both existing product and new development work.The Tech will be responsible for tooling and fixture creation.The Tech must be highly skilled and possess a well rounded knowledge of manufacturing practices both manual and automated.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proficiency in CAD/CAM "Mastercam" programming software.
Ability to program, set up, run, vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Knowledge of G-code, machining speed and feeds, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
Practical knowledge of both mill and lathe operation with various materials both metal and plastic.
Great organizational and communication skills combined with the ability to take ownership of projects and see them to completion.
Strong blueprint and inspection skills.
High school diploma or GED required
Ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and exp.
OR Equivalent Combination of Experience and Education.
