Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

Configuration Analyst

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with NPI, Specials Coordinator, Engineering Services, Sales, Marketing, Order Administration, Manufacturing, Master Scheduler and VC Modelers to set up the Product Configuration Specification (PCS) & SO accuracy
  • Chair meetings to review PCS (pricing, configuration rules, description etc)
  • Create a new PCS document from the Excel template
  • Work with Engineering Service to create a new PCS material in Enovia
  • Own KMAT models and KMAT Phantoms, and KMAT BOMs
  • Create, Update and Review KMAT BOMs and KMAT Phantom BOMS and ECOs that affect the PCS
  • Ensure new materials and BOMs are set up and created correctly and that ECO is accurate and ready for VC modelling (Structure the PCS into SAP)
  • Work with VC Modelers to insure information in VC is accurate; validate VC changes in SAP in test & production environment by creating quotes
  • Chair order review meeting and ensure SO accuracy with correct configuration

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or technical field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of configuration analysis or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to assertively implement configuration management policy
  • Familiarity with MRP processes and working knowledge of computer software applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, SAP)
