Group/Division

The Financial Analyst is a member of the KLA Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization.  The FP&A organization provides support to executives and business leaders throughout the company. Our primary role is to manage the processes that support the company's business decisions; such as forecasting, strategic planning, board of director presentations, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

This unique role will support eBeam division with the following responsibilities:

  • Top Line – work closely with Business Development, Operations and Corporate Revenue team regularly to update Book, Ship and Revenue forecast.
  • Operating Expenses – support division VP of engineering and his staff in managing division fixed costs, drive annual strat plan process, be the point person for monthly snapshot and quarterly review. 
  • Quarter End Close – responsible for quarterly close including account reconciliation, accruals, analyzing actual vs forecast, and preparation of financial packages.
  • Financial Modeling - being part of new product introduction team, work closely with division Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development on reasonableness of revenue projection and estimation of development costs. Build and maintain ROI models on multiple concurrent new product launches.   
  • Ad hoc analysis - analyze data from different perspectives and angles to help support business decisions.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in financial planning in a public company
  • Experience in managing operating expense in a high-tech environment and business partnering to drive cost efficiency.
  • Strong financial analytical and modeling skills.
  • Result-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and proactively.
  • Has the ability to multi-task and be flexible to multiple requests in a time sensitive manner.
  • Ability to adapt to changes within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in SAP/TM1 or comparable ERP systems is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 8 years of related experience OR
  • Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of related experience
