Responsibilities

Join a talent team of system, optical, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop and sustain state of the art wafer inspection and metrology products. Job duties include but not limit to 1) develop metrology system and subsystem specifications, 2) system integration and characterization, 3) develop algorithms of interferometric data processing and image processing, 4) design, prototype and test the illumination, imaging and motion control systems, 5) vendor development and training, 6) document design, testing and diagnosis procedures, 7) release design to manufacturing and provide training, 8) support the production and field escalation.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in physics, applied physics, electrical / control engineering, optics, or related engineering fields; 2-5 years experience in optical or optoelectronics module or system design and characterization. This individual should have deep understanding on optoelectronics/ photonics device and system, familiar with tunable lasers and laser Illumination, detector, data acquisition and signal processing is a plus. Proficiency in Zemax, Matlab, JMP, LabView is highly desirable; This role requires a good combination of practical hands-on skills and system level thinking, capable to lead system design and tool integration; Strong written and verbal communications skills are needed for the interaction with different teams; The candidate will need to multitask, work independently, and be a motivated team member.
