Product development engineer will be working with a team of system, optical, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop and sustain state of the art wafer metrology and inspection products. Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Subsystem design and analysis;
  • System and subsystem integration, troubleshooting and test;
  • Design and procedure documentation and release;
  • Training to manufacturing and supplier;
  • Support production and field escalation.


  • PhD/master/bachelor in mechatronics, mechanical, robotics, precision engineering or related, with 2-5 years’ experience in machine design and development;
  • Hands-on mechanical design, drafting, prototyping and debugging skills;
  • Good understanding of basic fabrication and manufacturing techniques;
  • Basic knowledge of wafer particle contamination reduction, air flow modeling, component vibration reduction as well as system thermal management;
  • Basic knowledge in metrology, interferometer and optical system will be a plus;
  • Candidate should be detailed, systematics, hands on, a fast learner and a team player;
  • Able to travel for field escalations.
