Group/Division

 

The scientist will join the advanced application development team, a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing state of art applications, models, algorithms, and new analysis methodology for the state of the art optical metrology.

 

 

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to join an R&D team that develops technologies and algorithms to be in the heart of the most advanced optical metrology systems used in the semiconductor industry.

 

  • Advanced data analysis, developping machine learning capabilities associated with physical insights
  • Design of experiment
  • Physical and mathematical modeling 
  • Simulations of interactions between light and complex grating structures 
  • Developing algorithms for the state of the art optical metrology systems
  • Close interaction with customers in the USA and East-Asia that are the leaders in the semiconductor manufacturing industry (up to 20% travel time)

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced degree in physics/electrical engineering/applied mathematics/biomedical engineering or related fields from a leading university
  • Data analysis skills, machine learning knowledge
  • Experienced in optics/optical metrology/diffraction grating structures/algorithm development- advantage
  • Analytical capabilities and good physical intuition
  • Highly familiar with programming tools such as MATLAB/Python 
  • Team player
  • Highly creative
  • Works in a dynamic environment
