The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.


This position is located in:  Malta, NY.  

  • Looking for an experienced professional Administrative Assistant with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in practical ways with minimal assistance.  Our ideal candidate would have expertise in the following areas of responsibility.
  • CRM / SAP Data base management including updating and maintaining customer service records.
  • Direct interfacing with our valued customers to assist with providing service quotes, customer invoicing and billing
  • Interfacing with local service management, applications engineers, customer support engineers and admins in other field offices assisting with day to day service operations.
  • Running / Providing / Analyzing reports necessary for service operations
  • General Office Assistance - FedEx shipments, office supplies


  • Bachelor's Degree in a business related field plus 3 years of industry related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to capture and analyze customer data and provide reports utilizing a proficiency in SAP/CRM and Excel.
  • Ability to interface with a diverse group of service engineers, managers, sales and other admins.
  • Excellent customer communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • OR Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
