Group/Division

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time software to support development of the next generation reticle inspection tools.
  • Collaborate with existing staff to:
    • Drive requirements specifications
    • Define algorithm details
    • Complete C++ software design
    • Code and test software at the bench level
    • Deploy software on next gen inspection machines, debug and characterize performance
    • Support integration of Alpha and Beta systems and Beta testing at customer sites
  • These tasks will require working with other engineering groups such as Optics engineers, Systems engineers and Manufacturing + Service engineers to ensure flawless integration and test at the subsystem and system level.
  • Address and resolve product issues thru the product phases.
  • Cross-train with current staff to learn details of existing SW/HW subsystems involving precision motion control, beam pointing control, optics positioning control and vibration isolation

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum BSEE, BSCS or similar technical degree
  • MSEE or MSCS preferred
  • Strong exposure to object-oriented programming in C++
  • Linux OS familiarity preferred
  • Academic background in automatic control preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree OR Bachelor's Level Degree
