KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.


KLA has an opportunity for a Data Analyst and modeling role within the Service Support Group GOPS responsible for the global service spares supply chain.  Service Support partners closely with the Global Support Services (GSS) organization and plays a significant role in enabling customer successes by enabling readiness to serve through spare parts on a global scale.  As an analyst in the Planning team, you will partner with the Product and Regional Planners, Procurement, and Service Operations and other internal groups to drive the Sales and Inventory Optimization cycle to drive decision-making investments of spare parts. The ideal candidate thrives at delivering solutions to complex data problems, has an affinity for data, analytics and process. 

  • Support Master Scheduling activities related to spares planning and inventory management.
  • Perform planning system maintenance activities: data updates, data refresh, troubleshooting.
  • Manage overrides approval process
  • Oversee all modeling and parameter testing as well as investigating new ways to optimize the forecasting process
  • Model changes to strategic business rules and present results to management.
  • Work closely with product line planners and regional analysts, understanding fill rate performance issues and making appropriate changes in planning system.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, product support, logistics, procurement, marketing, sales, etc in problem framing and cost/benefit modeling of alternatives.
  • Communicate findings to senior management and partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of recommendations, policies or tools

  • In-depth business process knowledge of high-tech capital equipment industry is a plus
  • Experience with service supply chain
  • Experience with spares planning software
  • Experience with MCA Solutions software (SPO and Tactics)
  • SAP experienced user
  • Experience in the role of business process analyst is a plus
  • Applying analytics to solve business problems in analytic/strategic consulting or high tech operations roles.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, VBA/SQL, BI, Tableau
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Should have excellent oral and written communication.



Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • OR Equivalent Combination of Experience and Education.
