The Real Estate and Facilities group is a corporate organization that is responsible for the management of all leased and owned property domestically and internationally.  The Facilities group provides Strategic and Tactical space planning, Construction Project management, Facilities Engineering, Facilities and Security Operations, and Site Services for our Milpitas Campus.  The group also provides assistance for other domestic and international facilities with these services when requested.



The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the engineering support for all building electrical, controls, and life safety systems.  A key component of this position is the ability to manage, operate, and modify the environmental management system to achieve building environmental standards and energy efficiencies.  This hands on position requires an extensive knowledge in the building systems, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.  This position will be required to assist all levels of facilities projects and maintenance from performing system troubleshooting to making project recommendations.

Other responsibilities would include training of other facilities personnel, maintain as-built drawings, and equipment manuals, assisting manufacturing engineers with the creation of facilities specification of theirs tools, and any other related duties.


  • BS in Engineering or a related field of study.  Preferred area of study to be either in mechanical, power, or control engineering.
  • Additional knowledge in computer programming and LEED buildings.
  • AutoCAD considered a plus. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
