Our mission is to enable the business, and leverage human resources to achieve short and long-term business objectives. Our primary areas of strategic focus include talent acquisition, individual and organizational assessment and development, performance management, inclusion and engagement, and rewards.

The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.


The person will operate as front line HR support for the German Operations team to support their business objectives. This will require collaboration with the business leadership of the Business Unit to find strategic HR solutions to business problems and challenges.  This involves handling day-to-day HR challenges including employee relations issues, coaching managers and employees, clarifying HR policies, participating in company-wide HR programs including annual performance appraisals and engagement surveys; partnering with corporate HR teams in learning, compensation and benefits, systems and staffing. 

As part of day to day responsibilities the person would have to:

  • Partner with management on organizational design and talent management matters
  • Ensure succession plans are developed and maintained
  • Deploy company-wide strategic human resources initiatives into the assigned business group
  • Partner with functional HR groups such as the Corporate Learning, Talent Acquistion, and Compensation and Benefits Group, to develop and deploy employee programs
  • Recommend human resources policies/guidelines
  • Observe labor law practices while resolving employee relations issues
  • Conduct investigations, terminations, and reductions-in-force, as necessary
  • Support managers complete and implement performance management tools.
  • Support managers with recruitment of candidates and staffing process
  • Provide consultation/direction regarding sound compensation practices to managers on salary structures, promotions, equity adjustments, bonus plans, etc.
  • Conduct training and facilitate workshops on courses and talent management topics with business groups
  • Participate in process improvement activities within HR and across the organization
  • Keep abreast of social, economic, labor law, regulatory, and political trends, which could impact the company's human resources practices, and business's talent needs.





  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating and maintaining collaborative and consultative business partnerships
  • Working knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in succinct and easy to comprehend manner
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of German work visa rules
  • Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in PeopleSoft a plus
  • Minimal travel required
