Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

    • Lead X- ray  system technology transfer overseas from R&D to Manufacturing . 
    • Support the development & manufacturability of X-ray system for semiconductor metrology applications
    • Own X-Ray technology in MFG in all aspects.
    • Manage work plans: Build process, Fixtures, Test plans,  
    • Trouble-shoot system and subsystem related issues. Perform analysis to validate X-ray system performance.
    • Work with X-ray metrology R&D team to build and use the X-ray tools effectively and optimize tool performance.
    • Fluent English and high presentations skills.
    • Frequent  travel to vendors, R&D and customers. ~40%  Travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Experience with X-ray  system development or manufacturing is a must, experience in Semiconductor industry is an advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills in X-ray systems.
  • Experience with X-ray design for safety & regulations.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary systems (Optical, Electromechanical and Software systems)
  • Ability to influence functional groups to drive system level decisions.
  • Familiar with Matlab, JMP, Zemax, and LabView.
